Visa for 1.5 months WP validity

I was in Canada from 1st August 2013 till 30th Jan 2015 (Came back to India). I have Canada Work Permit valid till 31st July 2015, however my Canada visa expired on 6th April 2015.

My company HR told me that I need to get visa if I have to go back to Canada and then file WP extension from Canada. However since my current WP validity is only for 1 month (will expire on 31st July), visa officer may refuse to give visa for 1 month.

Is it true? Has anyone got visa though WP validity was less than 1.5 months? Please advise.

There are high chances of not getting VISA. more over if you manage to get VISA then there will be problem entering to CANADA because immigration officer might not allow due to the WP validity.
The best way would be to get your WP extended and then apply for VISA and land happily without any problem.

I tried to check eligibility. I have one question. There is one check as 'Do you have job offer from Canadian Employer'. The thing is that my company is Indian company but have office in Canada as well. When they give letter, they mention that this employee is transferred to our Canada office.

If this is case, do I need to mention as 'YES' or 'NO' to the question 'Do you have job offer from Canadian Employer'?
If I reply Yes, it shows that I am eligible for WP extension from India else it shows Not eligible.
