Nice try!
There is no restrictions on travel out of Canada. No such thing as essential travel restrictions when you leave.

So nobody else has flagged so maybe I will mention it but you have been in Canada since 9/2019 and in this post you mention both exam and study. Assume by study you maybe do not mean attending a college but self study as a visitor given if attendance study you should be careful that this does not exceed 6 months else you would have needed a study permit.

well, before I started studying I applied for document evaluation which took around 2 months. It is the first step needed to be done before applying for the exam.
and it is self-study, no college what so ever.

I might be wrong, but if your extension for a visitor visa is refused, you aren’t eligible to apply for restoration. It’s already been refused.

As there was nothing in the refusal letter to state that IRCC considers that OP's status expired more than 90 days prior, OP can apply for Restoration.

Almost everyone applies for their documents to be evaluated from their home country or from Canada on a student/work permit or PR. There is no need to be in Canada for documents to be evaluated. There is also no need to be in Canada to study independently. Most taking PEBC are already in Canada as PRs or have been studying in their home country and fly in for their test if they are able to get a TRV. You have been denied because there was no good reason for you to be in Canada for so long. Assume you may have family here or your stay in Canada to study would have cost a fortune.

Canada has a huge surplus of pharmacists at the moment and salaries have been decreasing over the past 15 years. It is puzzling why Canada admits dentists and pharmacists when their own grads are struggling to find employment but that‘s another issue.

so I am now translating some new supportive documents and have some questions please:

1-will buying one way ticket to home help to support my restoration application?
2- I'm had phone conversations with a lawyer but it'll cost me a fortune ($2500). from your exaperience, should apply mayself or I carry on with the lawyer?
3- usually how long does it take for the decision to be made?

Thanks a lot

1. Wouldn't hurt.

2. Do it yourself.

3. It can take many months.

I found flights to home is expensive. Do you guys think that purchasing a one-way ticket to the States, where my friend lives, will be convincing to the immigration authority?
I have American visitor visa to the still valid until 2021

Thanks

I don't see how a one way flight supports a restoration application.

Just to do the exam, it's in the 26th of June

So then it would make no sense to book a flight to the US for end of May. In general, purchasing a flight to the US makes no sense. You probably wouldn't be allowed into the US right now due to travel bans.

Recommend you state you want to stay until the exam and provide evidence you are registered for the exam. You should include proof that you have purchased a flight home after June 26th (e.g. around June 30). A flight to the US makes it look like you want to stay here. You should book a flight home.
