Hi, my human is a permanent resident and I am on a visiting visa, I was approved an extension on my visa that expire on October 9 but am leaving Canada in July, my question is after leaving Canada will I be allowed to return

Are you sure? I thought the extension became invalid once they leave.

"If we approve your application to extend your stay in Canada, we’ll give you a visitor record.

A visitor record:

  • is a document that says how long you can stay in Canada
  • includes an expiry date
    • that’s the date that you must leave Canada by
A visitor record does not guarantee entry to Canada. If you plan to travel outside Canada or the United States, you need a valid entry document to return to Canada"
 
I do have a document that allowed me to stay in Canada until October 9 but am leaving in July, will there be any problem if I leave before October 9, when I want to return to Canada, what other documents do I need?

I interpret that as soon as you leave your extension is over, even though you had it as October 9 it is cancelled as soon as you leave. You then need another valid entry document to return.
So how long is your visitor visa valid for in your passport? was it a multi entry visa?
 
Yes it’s a multi entry visa, it’s a 10 year visa, do I need other documents other wise from the visa what other documents will I need to return to Canada?

If you have a multi entry 10 year visa then that is what you need to return. One catch is that on a visitor visa you are not allowed to live in Canada only visit, so if you come back too soon after leaving there is a chance they can refuse you. How long will you be staying out of the country before coming back? How long have you already been in Canada?
 
6 months was stamp in my passport to visit Canada but with the visa extension I have been here for 13 months and when I leave I am planing to return to Canada with in 5 or 6 after leaving..
 
When did you apply for the extension? Was it online? When did you receive the approval? For how many months is the approval? I am trying to track when my extension would be approved since I applied online on June 29.
