Hi,

I am an Indian married to Canadian. Recently i and my husband applied for my PR. I came to Canada on 30th November'12 on visitors visa . I hold multiple entry USA visa as well , so on 4th of January'13 i went to niagara falls and went to USA side as well. While doing so Visa officers from USA side stapled a card on my passport stating that this card is valid from 4th jan'13 to 4th July '13. And stamped my passport as well.
But while entering back in Canada , Canadian visa officers did not stamp my passport.

I want to extend my visitors visa. only issue is if the visa officers consider my USA visit on Jan 4th,2013. If they consider then i can stay here July 4th,2013.

Please reply.

Your USA immigration card (I-94?) will have no effect on your current visa for Canada.
They probably didn't stamp your passport on return to Canada because they saw no need to.

Thanks for your reply!

In that case I need to apply for extension at the earliest.

Hi,

Since you just entered USA and returned to Canada, the Canadian VO won't stamp your passport. It is not considered that you exit from Canada. Your visitor's visa stamped on the first time you entered Canada is still valid :)
