Visa expired

Hi to all,
I need some advise from the expert here.I am provincial nominee in manitoba my COPR and passport with visa was sent to me last Dec.5 2011 ,I ask CEM officers if my dependents can accompany me in my trip to manitoba and their status as non-accompanying dependents ,the CEM officers agreed and told me that they can accompany me, Just surrender my COPR and Passport with visa and also submit the passport of my partner and my daughter,and pay RPRF, PF and replacing/reprinting a visa fee for my partner & daughter and so we did,we sent back our PP's thru courier Dec. 20 2011 unfortunately up to now our PP's and visa are still at CEM I tried to follow up twice they keep on saying that "we will not respond to your request if the application is within the average processing time",How long is the processing time? my visa and medicals was expired last Feb. 11 2012
Does the CEM will extend our visa? and ask me again to take another medical?
my status in the ECAS is still the same "Decision made" pls. help I need some advise..Is there someone here have same situation like mine? pls share your experience.

Did you not list them as your dependent when you initially applied? did you include them only at later stage (prior landing) ... if yes, then this will take time for that to be re-processed.

You must have applied for an extension of your status BEFORE your work permit expired. Now that it's expired, you may be able to still apply for status restoration ...

hi ethels thanks for giving time reading and giving some advice.actually I list them as my dependents but they are non-accompanying,CEM officers told me that They can accompany me in my manitoba, just give some explanation letter stating that I want to change the status of my dependents from non accompanying to accompanying. My visa is not a work permit,I was categorized as immigrant.

I check my ECAS and t'was change from "decision made'" to "In process" do I still have the chance to re take a medical and re issue us a visa? I submit my PP before the expiration of the visa.

Okay, now I'm starting to see what the problem really is. You were issued a visa but you resubmit it since you want your dependant to accompany you - but now that your visa is expired along with the medicals.

Seems to me that they have to "re-process" your application since your medical is expired already. Since your wife and children will be accompanying you now, then there must be some process in the background for that as well. There is little you can do other than waiting ...

But don't worry, it just a delay since the status changed to "In process"
