Visa expired, WP valid. Can I travel within Canada?

Hi all, I would like to know if I could travel WITHIN Canada eventhough my visa is expired, with a valid work permit?

I assume that you have applied to either extend or renew your visa given your legal status could be questioned even with a work permit.

That's wrong....the OP said valid work permit and as such doesn't need to renew the visa unless planning on travelling outside of canada. The work permit is what gives him legal status.

guess anyone is allowed to get one wrong occasionally but still do not understand why someone would let a visa expire in case they need to leave and reenter at short notice as thats a hassle to avoid but hey.
