just wondering if its easier to visit from a country that doesnt require a visitor visa.

well the answer is yes: if you're from a non visa exempt, you need to apply for a visa to go to Canada, and most people get denied.
If you're from a visa-exempt, you don't need a visa. So : it's easier.
it doesn't mean that your entry into Canada is guaranteed..
Sweden

Hi there

Just like Sweden said some people get refused, but just don't false any paperwork, my partner who doesn't come from a visa-exempt country applied and got hers, and she came here many times and I will say this , customs are very particular on her first visit but now she has been to Canada and she has no problem, just don't apply for a single visa, that's when flags arise get the multi visa .

My husband has many times, and I've gone to him a few times.
We're honest, carry our info, letters from employers that we're expected to return on a certain date...and all is fine
