Hi,

We are living in Belgium, a visa-exempt country.
Do we need to send our passports (PPR)?
Or can we enter Canada with our COPR and valid passports and an ELECTRONIC TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION?

thanks!

Hello Ivanover,

If you get PPR, you will have to send your Passport, photo passport (for you and your dependents) to the visa office stated in the mail you will receive.

Now regarding eTA; check out this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp

Hope it helps.

if all your family has visa exempt passports, at the moment of PPR, you will be asked to upload the front page of passport and photo directly in your application (new doc. holders will appear there). You will then get COPR letter from your LVO.

When it comes to ETA, I am asking that by myself, if that is requested for the purposes of the first landing.
