It depends on how you write your SOP. Make sure you give a strong reason for this decision.

It happens sometimes that PG is more advanced than your Masters. There may be few core courses that were missing in your Masters so now you can do them in your PG. Also, depends on what you did your Masters. If done long back then it is outdated too.. you have to explain this in your SOP.
