I have completed Bachelor degree in Engineering, I have applied for advanced Diploma in GIS study.

He is not satisfying that I will leave Canada at the end of my stay.

Although, I have already showed him enough funds for my staying and strong ties to my home country.

He mentioned 4 reasons :

Your Current employment status

Purpose of visiting

The program is not reasonable for him

In addition to ,
He said I'm not a bonafied student.

And your employment prospective

Please advise how to convince him.

Thank you and best regards,

It doesn't make any sense to take an advanced diploma after a bachelor degree. This is a lower level of study. You need to change your plans to take a post graduate diploma instead.

Thanks for reply.

You mean I can't reapply again for the same course GIS advanced Diploma even it is related to my career now in Oil and gas ?

And if I applied for other institution and post graduate diploma, will that be sufficient and he will not tell me you are not a bonafied because you changed your course and area of study?

Here you are his concerns :

I am not satisfied that the proposed studies are reasonable and that your primary purpose would be
to actively pursue the intended program as required under R220.1. I am also not satisfied that you
are a bonafide student who would exit Canada at the
[30/03, 18:49] Mohamed Ibrahim: My question : why he is not satisfied that the studies are reasonable? And why not satisfied that I'm a bonafide student?

Thank you so much in advance.

I don’t have any proof of funds issue.

The issue now is ties to country of residence or home country.

Even I've provided him with assets and rental properties in Egypt.

Now , the point is with course itself , he is calling me non bon a fide because I have Bachelor already, so why you want advanced Diploma ?

I think that the reason.

My question, can I reapply with post graduate certificate in project management.?

and of course post graduate diploma program will be better chance right?

Thank you in advance,

Advance diploma lies below bachelors degree. Since you already have a bachelors degree, look for a post graduate diploma or masters program.

You got so many reasons for refusal. If you are planning to apply again you need to work on each of them.

1 Change your proposed study. Apply for some masters program
2 Do u have any backlogs or gap in your studies ? If u do u need to submitt them and if u don’t you need to prove them. I have seen people submitting letters from there universities. You can do that
3 write a strong SOP explaining why do u want to study in canada and why you will come back after your studies

Hi bro

I got my rejection two times. I completed my bachelor's in Aeronautical engineering. I did extra one year and had 25 backlogs. How to convince visa officer for one year lag and backlogs. What certificates from university should I get?

Thanks for reply .

do you know any post graduate diploma program admits 60 % Bachelor Engineering.? I have around 4 and Half years of experience now in Oil and gas industry working with Kuwait Oil Company and I'm still working to date.

The point my brother is that, I will apply for 2 years diploma in Oil and gas industry or petroleum Engineering.

I think the Visa officer he saw that GIS is

irrelevant to my experience background and to my education back ground.

Do you think reapplying to a 2 years diploma in More relative studies in Oil and gas discipline will be suff?

Thank you in advance.

Do you know how to obtain a letter from any employer in which country of residence or home country stating that I will be returning back again to either to resume my work again ?

Thank you and best regards ,

It is not a diploma course, it is a 2 years diploma, and his reason was that not reasonable.

But this one is reasonable and relevant to my experience background and educational background.

Thank you,

Looks like you didn't get my point. Bro, duration doesn't matter. You are still applying for a DIPLOMA course when you already have a bachelor's degree. So, when you reapply, your proposed study SHOULD be higher level than the qualification you hold now. Hence, look for post graduate diploma or masters program.
