My friend is using y a x i s in India and has paid them a huge amount of money to them. He is in the pool since August 2016. He is 30, has a masters degree, 7 in all sections of IELTS, 3 years + work experience, his wife has a bachelors degree and 6 in all bands of IELTS and his agent says he has a CRS of 472 but he didnt get an ITA yet as CIC did not pic his NOC. CIC never does that.

I visited the same agent in London and they told me that my 7.5 in IELTS was great and made it sound like employers were waiting to give me jobs with LMIA and PNPs were waiting to nominate me. It sounded too good to be true and then I stumbled upon this forum and decided to do my own research.

Now, I am 30, have a CLB 10 in IELTS, 3 years + work experience, have a masters degree. My wife has a masters degree and a CLB 9 in IELTS and we have 472. We got an ITA within 6 days of entering the pool and have already submitted our application.

My friend says he has no time to work on his application. Everyone is busy and it depends on how much time you are willing to invest in your future. He has paid the agent more money to do a job search for him. I have tried to tell him how to improve his score with my own example as mine jumped from 412 to 472 just by improving my language scores.

It is your future and it is in your hands unless you want to pay someone to decide your future by paying ridiculous amounts of money.

Agents dont have a magic wand to give you PR easily.

Does anyone here has any experience with consultancy: Dreamvisas/Taurus Infotek ?

The owner Manoj Palwe seems to be an experienced guy and has lots of you tube videos explaining the Canada immigration.
The company charges close to 1100 USD which is pretty standard across all consultants I've met.
If anyone has had any experience, please share as it will help me a lot.
