I am applying from Pakistan for the advanced diploma course at Seneca college as an international student. I however intend to have my advanced diploma from Seneca college at completion changed into a Bachelors degree
program. My only query and worry is satisfying the immigration officer for the student visa. Would the immigration officer not ask me why I am going to Canada to study for a diploma program instead of a full
blown degree program? I am thinking that they would not be keen to approve my student visa on a diploma program as opposed to a degree program from one of the other universities. If I were to apply to a
diploma program at a college like Seneca or Centennial college should I then in my visa application write to the visa officer that I intend to do my 4th year from one of their partner universities or would
that work against my case? I would appreciate your prompt reply to my queries. Thank you very much.
