guys i'm also waiting for my visa....do pray for me as well....inshallah all of us will get it
i applied for visa on 25th july
medical papers recieved on 5th August
Appeared for medical on 6th August
Returned my Passport on 6th August...
and now waiting for VISA
classes are going to start from 9th september.

same is the case here...... really very anxious and tense due to visa
today my college also sent me an email..that upto 13th sept u will have to attend the classes ...otherwise defer ur session to january.... i really nervous ...my classes are starting on 7 sept..
yar ap mere liye dua karo aur main ap k liye karunga....
inshallah Allah humay na ummmeed nahi karaiga.....

Really it very painful to wait for visa arrival.... especially wen the weekend comes.....
just pray that we should get it on monday ...otherwise it will get too late...

Exactly! mera apna yeahi haaal hai janab.kuch samajh nahi aa rahi.my classes are starting from 9th sept and i have bought a ticket of 4th sept alreadykugaa said:
inshallah i will be able to use that ticket on the booked dates Ameen.....all of us pray for us:O all of us have the same situation...like yours parents my mom was soo much insisting me today to do some shopping..but i didn't bought a single shirt saying the same thing that i will not buy anything unless i get the visa!!! grrrrrr :-X

I don't find too many from Pakistan applying Canada.
And i guess for Winter season , application will be more less likely,

Just decided to jump in & share my timelines. I'm in the same boat as you. I got the letter very late from university. I'm going for post-graduate studies in the field of computer science. It's a research based program.
Here are my timelines:
Submitted my documents on June 25th
Received the medical form on June 27th (but I didn't get a call from Fedex so I wasn't aware my documents were back until I contacted the embassy!)
Got done with medical on August 16th
Returned my passport on August 19th
I'm still waiting for the study permit. My classes start on September 9th but I have to register for classes before September 8th to avoid a late fee.
It indeed is quite a headache. I had a flight booked for tomorrow but now will have to do another booking. To be honest, I don't even feel like doing another booking. Canceling, Scheduling, re-scheduling is madness & the embassy wouldn't even say till when I can expect a decision. I got only some of the shopping done (like, got the leather stuff) & at work, with a resignation, I kind of missed the annual review. I can continue working with the company though if the visa is denied.
I hope those of us who are waiting will get a positive answer real soon. I wish you all good luck!
