I applied for a visa for one of my juniors this past August, and luckily the email for the passport request came in a few minutes ago, but I checked the application status tracker and found no information as per the visa.


Has this scenario happened to anyone before?

Biometrics in June. Eligibility is still under review and background check is still under processing

Visa application, tracking ID No.xxxxxxxxx. Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office on 2023/11/03. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.

What does this mean?

Biometric done on August 21, and I received Passport request notice on Oct 24.
