Hello Dear, Congrts for your approval.
Now your visa is already approved and you can clearly see in your approval letter that you can enter in Canada by 2018 ( if course is for 1 year) and 2019 ( if course is for 2 year). So dont wry to enter Canada in next intake once you are approved to come in Canada for Study.
Latet on,
You can also apply for extension in Study Permit if your studies in Clg /Uni take longer than expiry of your Study Permit. For instance, if your study permit is expiring in Feb'19 and your course is going to be completed on May'19 then apply for study permit extension before your study permit expires. It is advisable for you to apply for study permit extension before 90 days of its expiry.
So right now, enjoy a few months at your home and start planning for trip.
Hope this might be helpful to you.
Hi Neel,
It would be great if you can advice me ,by hearing my case.
I applied for student at VFS New Delhi on 16 Nov 2016. Didn't append medical proof , neither tuition fee upfront.
Waiting started since then. Wrote 5 e-mails ,1 fax & 1 letter (in person submission at VFS) requesting to expedite the process as the date for enrollment was nearing fast (5 Jan 2017).
On 10 Jan 2017, I got a call from visa office, New Delhi, asked for 3 documents to submit : 1) Deferral Letter from Univ, 2) Medical Proof, 3) Tuition Fee Payment Receipt. And was told, that instead of submitting these documents again at VFS, I can scan and send these thru e-mail (DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca) to immigration section. Also was told, once I furnish those docs, visa will be issued!
I sent these documents on 18 Jan 2017 thru e-mail and after that also wrote 2 e-mails and requested to conclude their review asap.I am finding in GC account, medical is "passed".I also uploaded the same documents in GC portal , which is still showing "provided" even after 4 working days!
I don't know how can I make them to visit /review my documents. Should I submit one set of hard copies of those doc at VFS New Delhi?
I am extremely perplexed as it is now almost 2 and a half months now.
