Hello,
It has been a long wait .
i submitted my online application from USA on 12 july for September session. All documents were uploaded upfront. CIC requested more documents on 26 August, I uploaded the documents on 31 August.
Today, (6 Sep), I received a letter from CIC requesting for my passport.

they asked for more information on financial proof, proof of education.
also, copies of my old passport as I had only submitted the copies of new passport before.
