VISA APPROVED WITHOUT MEDICALS

Hi folks, i once asked in this forum,if all applicants were due to take MEDICAL EXAMS before the issuance of study permit.
Somebody replied and said,irrespective of where you come from you have to take the MEDICAL TEST, and that even OBAMA will have to go through the same process.
i will like to tell the person that, it never true,and if he needs a prove, my case is a perfect one.
I got my application approved without and MEDICAL TEST.

1. All immigrants require medicals.
2. Visitors/Students/workers from the following countries staying longer than 6 months require medicals http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/dcl.asp

May be you have TRV so that you did not need any medical
