No stamp of visa on passport means a refusal. Another letter with regards to reason for refusal will be sent to you.

Sorry for late reply,

At the end, when they ask for the passport most likely means that the Visa is approved.

Depending on how much time your passport is valid, that amount of time is the same for your Visa.

My passport for example has 10 years of validation, therefore my Canadian multiple visa is for the same 10 years valid.

So the final desicion was that my application has been approved. ^^
