Visa approval for jan2023

Asking for my brother.
Student got study permit approval but he already deffered to sept2023 batch amd new LOA have been sent to IRCC via webform 3 days before approval.

Can he travel now or should wait till july/august ?

He can only travel a month before the start of his program. Immigration guys at the airport will send him back if he gets there earlier.

I am going on 28th of March for May intake but still worried. It's not advised to go more than one month before your classes and totally depends on the Immigration officer's decision.
