Visa Approval after deferring your admission

I have applied for my study permit on Sep 16th 2020 for the Jan 2021 intake. I submitted my biometrics on Jan 4th 2021.
Now that the classes for Jan intake have already started and I am yet to receive any decision on my study permit application, I have no choice but to defer my admission to Sep 2021 intake (as my university doesn't offer a May intake for my course). Last date to defer is 10th Jan 2021.
As per the universities' confirmation, they will take around a month's time to provide me the new admission offer letter (for Sep 2021 intake).
I am aware that I need to send the new admission offer letter through the IRCC webform as soon as I receive it from the university. But, my question is, what should I do in the case of when I receive my visa approval during this one month period, i.e. after I have deferred my admission to Sep 2021 intake, but my visa for Jan 2021 intake has been approved before I could update the new admission offer letter of Sep 2021 intake.
Hii... So my cousin had applied for jan intake 2021 and had applied for visa around November 2020.
Her visa was taking long so around jan 5th just before her classes started she deferred her admission to May.
But around Jan7th she got her passport request. She sent her passport for stamping and got the visa approval letter.
Her Lawyer says that she just needs to show the new Letter of Acceptance (for May) at the border when they issue the study permit.

I have a question, do we need to inform IRCC thought webform when we get a new LOA? or we just take new LOA and visa to Canada border and explain to them we already defer our intake due to late study permit approval.
It Is better to upload to the new LOA. It will hardly take you 2 minutes. I have uploaded mine.

Hi guys,
I am in the similar situation. Mine got approved in December 2020, applied in June 2020 and deferred intake in Sep 2020(that also for a year). I got mine stamped and its valid till 30/4/2022. I received an update on my approved application though on 16/04/2021 that the status of document is invalid. I don't know what to do.. I have submitted new sep 2021 LOA to Ircc. Please advice me whether I need to apply for new TRV?

So, do you know anyone who is facing the same issue?
My TRV validity is till 30/4/2022. I am thinking I can still use the same. What do you think?
Yess there are so many students those are facing this problem you can search this forum named "counterfoil invalid"
