I applied on the 7th of June. CIC website stated then that applying from Malaysia would take 6 weeks. Surprisingly and fortunately, I received mine really quickly, on the 19th. Amazing!

A very good friend of mine applied on May 27, 2016 and just got a mail for medical examination today i.e. June 24, 2016.

Some people who did Medical Infront, they will get direct final mail , because in there case , first Medical status get passed , but those who are waiting for Medical mail, once they will do medical, there visa also get approved within a week , depend upon there medical result. all the best.
When you applied and from where ? and now what is the process of yours?

mine is exact same situation, applied on 14th june , linked online on 22nd june , meds passed on 25th june. hope things go well now.

I got my final approval letter on the 19th of June. I did an upfront medical examination, so that I would not have to wait for CIC to send me a request for a medical examination.

I applied on 17th June by CIC. On the next day I received the medical update as "passed". Since then no news. Applying from Brazil, the average time is 7 weeks.
