Visa application submitted since OCT2020 with no response till date

I applied for a visit visa for my parents since Oct-2020, and they both have a valid Bio-metric, but till date we received no response neither approval nor rejection
Please advise what can i do to refresh the application, or to know the status of it

I heard that one needs to apply again.
