Visa application-london UK

So here is my situation:

Basically my CAQ was delivered on 16th and the status is "waiting for documents". I have phoned them a few times and they mentioned it is just FINE they need more time.


My passport is being renewed and it will be ready by 1st or 2nd aug. Now I have heard ,a lot, that it is almost impossible to get visa if I apply after 1st Aug.


Anyway looking at the processing times for london it doesn't appar to be the shortest and knowing I can apply from any country should I file my visa in another country like Austria-Serbia-Turkey ??

My bad ..which bit is unclear to you tho

1) Is that true that I almost have no chance if I file my visa after 1st Aug?

2)I live in Uk but can I apply to another canadian embassy in a different country? why ? because london is gonna take 6-9 weeks!

my course starts in 4th Sep

Hi,

About applying after the 1st, you must check the UK Canadian Embassy website. When you click on how to apply for study permits, there is link for processing times. Secondly, applying from a different country rather than your own country of citizenship or residence may create suspicion in the VO's head. I say this because they want to be satisfied that you are well established in your own country and you will return back after studies. Just my personal opinion. All the best!
