Visa Application Fee- Canam asking for Rs 7,800/, Is that correct?

Hi Friends,

As per the VFS website (http://www.vfs-canada.co.in/visafees.html), the Visa application fee for study permit is Rs 6,625 and their processing charge is Rs 676. So the total charges should be Rs 7301. Under the 'Optional Services' head, there is a charge mentioned for "Courier returns facility. The passport will be returned back to the specified home or office address via courier." Even if I include that charge of Rs 255, it comes to Rs 7556. Any idea why Canam is asking for Rs 244 more? Could it be the courier charge for sending the application?

I will definitely ask them before paying but just wanted to know if someone here already has the answer.
 
Rs.7620 is fee if you opt for courier services. otherwise minus 255. Just take your file from Canam and apply it by yourself, If you want to save your hard earned money.
 
yes it is 7620 for spp
 
I think they have added their "Tel Paani" into amount ;)

I'm applying under non SPP. Could you please show the break up of Rs 7620? I think Canam is adding the extra Rs 244 for the courier charge for sending the application.
 
visa fee is rs 7616 only

I have applied through Canam Hyd, along with application I had given a DD of 6,625 and Rs.733 for vfs
