Hi! I just want to ask if putting 3 or 4 months on the 'Duration of Stay' in the application is good or if there's a high chance it gets rejected because of that.

Background: visiting fiance, applied for two visas prior stating I was visiting fiance (for 1-2 weeks each) and they were both approved.

I think applying for 3~4 months' visitor visa is too good for success. If you're working/studying; it also raises questions re: authenticity. One won't believe that you can leave on vacation from work for 4 months. Besides, you're going to meet your finace and 3~4 months stay may prove to work against your favor as the VO may think you're leaving your home country permanently to somehow live with your to-be wife.

What was the length of your visa given when you applied before? Some apply for 3~4 weeks and yet given longer. Moreover, every visit visa application is considered for multi-entry automatically from 2014.

The first one was a single-entry valid for 1 year, and the other a multi-entry valid until my passport expires (this October 21).

Then, I would say you do the same when you got your multi-entry visa. You can stay up to 6 months in Canada with that.
