i applied for canada work permit from Dubai and when I tracked my application it said that the decision has been made and sent to my email but I haven’t received any email. They asked to contact on a email if I didn’t receive my mail. So I contacted but haven’t heard from them ever since

Please, can you share with us how long take with you the process since you give your fingerprint?
i mean since when you applied for the work permit

I’m so sorry to ask you the same question
How you submitted your application and your biometric finger print on 31/05/2019 and you recieved an reply by 19/05/2019
It doesn’t make sense !!??
Please I’m just asking to figure out how long take the process in real time not as showing in the website & you can freely give us an propre answer or not it’s up to you I just want to help

no worries its happen that we made a mistake between two dates ...

please listen to me :
  • if you submitted your application with an agency in Dubai or outside Dubai you need to check with them first as they will send the email to them
  • if you submitted your application through VFS Dubai because the embassy is in Abu Dhabi you need to check with them about the decision.
  • if you submitted the application by yourself online and you give your fingerprint to the Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi you need to visit them for the final decision
Please update me once you have the final decision under your hand and i hope you get your visa as we are on the same boat ;) I'm still waiting since 19 weeks ago.

Hi all
I applied for my work permit from Abu Dhabi since 3rd of October,2018 and till now i didn’t get any response from the embassy.Any one has the same delay try to contact me please

please can you specify more details :

  • when you submitted your application and fingerprint? the exact date.
  • when you did the interview? the exact date.
  • which kind of job? wich territory ??
  • when you get the answer from your representative? the exact date.

Hi ximense
I submitted my application the 3rd of October,2018 and I made fingerprint the 8th of October
- I did my interview in the embassy the 21st January,2019
My job is restaurant supervisor in corner brook,Newfoundland
The last update from my representative was the 20th of April,2019 when I asked him to check with the embassy for any updates especially they exceeded normal processing time which mentioned in their website and they replied him that I’m in queue and their agent is checking my application and to keep patient.
