visa and passport

my passport photo is of 1997, that time i was 9 yrs old and now i am 22. but my passport is valid till 2017. will my visa be refused. and i got Mohawk college letter for international business management. i have paid full tuition fees that is 12100 cad and have got 6 lakhs education loan sanctioned.my father is a government servant and his yearly income is 7 lakhs. will i get visa. i have applied in general category. i have submitted a sop where i mentioned that i will return back India after i complete my studies.

pls help me to clear my doubts.

no CHC have nothing to do with ur passport photo. the photos you attach with application must be not more then six months old.
At the port of leaving and port of entry you may face some hurdles regarding passport photo but visa refusal on the basis of Passport photo no chance.
one thing more you can have ur new passport without expiring the old one so why not you apply for a new one ?

is it a minor passport? where are you from ? wat is Ur age buddy?
as far as i know all you need is a valid adult passport with no damages that's it...

its a MINOR PASSPORT and the photograph was taken at the age of 8 yrs,1997. Now i m 23 yrs old. but its validity is 2017. Due to paucity of time it may not be possible for me to get a new passport. But I will renew after getting my visa.

they will check only the validity...
After getting the visa get a police clearance certificate or if there is time do the renewal..
