I am considering applying for written authorization for visiting my boyfriend under exclusive dating relationship exemption. Could someone please guide me what all documents I need? And also step by step process? How long does it take to receive authorization?

Are you from a visa exempt country or do you already have a TRV? Getting authorization may be quite difficult. How long have you been dating and how much time have you spent together? How long will you want to visit? Can you pay for your travels and quarantine? Does he have a separate are like a basement where you can quarantine for 2 weeks or an airbnb? If you already have permission to travel people seem to hear if they've been approved or denied in 2 weeks to 2 months. Don't buy a ticket until you have been approved.

How long are you wanting to remain in Canada? Are you a US citizen? If not hat is your status in the US and when is your status ending? Are you from a visa exempt country? Do you have a TRV or ETA?

Can you please share if EXTENDED FAMILY MEMBER who already holds a TRV needs to provide a 'REASON' that is non-discretionary and non-optional OR the mere fact that they are exempt from travel to Canada is fine?
imm0006 asks for PURPOSE OF TRAVEL & IRCC also asks for a DETAILED REASON OF TRAVEL as part of the email where all the information needs to be sent.
My cousin wants to invite his brother who already has a TRV and has been to Canada thrice before and left without any unauthorized stays. This time he only wants to visit his Canadian family member as a visitor and there is no medical reason here. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

He has a multiple entry visa for 10 years. He just wants to visit his brother who is a Canadian Permanent Resident. My confusion is -Is visiting a family member as an EXTENDED FAMILY MEMBER deemed as essential? or there has to be specific and convincing reason that needs to be provided here?
I am not sure if FAMILY REUNIFICATION can be provided as a reason. There is no medical / pregnancy reason involved here.

Unclear. You would hope not as many in Canada have not been able to visit for almost a year.

At this stage, my cousin's sibling only wants to know if his request would be refused because of the reason of visit despite being 'eligible'.
