Virtual Oath Taking outside Canada

This would be awesome. It's not ideal to travel back and forth during this pandemic and spread the virus and variants more. I truly believe we will be able to take the oath outside of Canada in the near future. Same was with the citizenship test, slowly we got the opportunity to do it outside of Canada and now it's an official option.

I have an emergency I need to exist Canada and go to see my family as soon as possible

Is it still impossible to take the Oath outside of Canada ?

Unsure. It's not even clear if you'll get the invite if you move outside of Canada whilst waiting for the Oath invite. If you're just travelling somewhere for a brief time, I wouldn't worry, so long as you can get back to Canada quickly.

Based on the document it isn’t guaranteed. Legal had to determine whether it should be done.

People should read the document! Especially (1) and (2)

1) It is dated 1 May 2020. Almost 2 years ago!

2) Most of what is in there had already been implemented!

3) There is no, and have been any "virtual oath taking overseas/
