portal invitation should only be one day.thats crazyI'm still waiting for Calgary VO to send me the portal details.... did not even receive an acknowledgement email that I am in the virtual queue. I only know this because I managed to call and ask about the status of my application.
Is it going to take almost a year to do the virtual landing? (4-5 months for portal invitation + 4 months for eCOPR)?
My application is outland family sponsorship 2021 january. I got PPR on 26th september 2022, I am in canada on visitor visa while i got PPR. I submitted webform same day and on november 15, 2022 i got email that my address has been updated. Since then nothing i have received from IRCC. I have been trying calling them but because high volume it doesn't even reach in waiting queue to have conversation with IRCC agent.
I am allowed to ideally stay 6 months which is getting over in February. And I have not even got virtual landing invite email.
Is anyone here having same case? Can we leave the country and come back with the reason that our virtual landing process is in queue? Or can we wait here in canada even if visiting visa one time stay period is over? Because as per people here who are waiting since very long I don't think so for me IRCC will complete everything before february.

Outland candidate, Provincial nomination ( not Ontario ) , moved to Ontario on WP while PR application was in progress, Recieved PPR and raised Webform as requested in the letter, already been 6 months, what is the process? why does it take so much time, online still shows "Background check in progress" , never able to speak to an agent. I'm on the same boat. Applied Jan 2022 (outland family sponsorship), PPR on Sept 13, waiting for virtual landing. As far as I know, based on my conversations with IRCC over the phone, if you leave Canada, then your application might have to be moved to whatever new country you are in, which can take months, and you would need to wait there until it is processed. I was told to just wait (easy to say), and that I could stay past the 6 months that the tourist visa allows because I'd get implied status.My application is outland family sponsorship 2021 january. Realistically speaking, I don't know if they would even notice you left Canada as long as you come back before they process your virtual landing... but it's impossible to know when that'd happen. I still can't believe it is taking them months to do virtual landing. It's dehumanizing to be in Canada without access to services and the ability to work and make money.
Sent webform on the same day I got PPR (Sept 13th 2022). Then again Sept 19th, and Oct. 13th. On Oct 17th, I found an email for the NY VO and asked them to send me the virtual landing portal credentials. They forwarded my email to Ottowa. Finally, on Oct 21st, I managed to get through the phone to an IRCC rep who said that my application had been transferred to the Calgary VO for virtual landing. I have not heard from them yet.When did you apply for portal details

I just got it a few minutes ago! I replied to the email with the info they asked (name, UCI, Application #, original entry date, latest entry date, entry place, etc.). Now the wait starts for the actual portal credentials...

Been in Canada since 24 august. We came in with PR visa but did not bring our child coz IRCC did not issue her visa so our PP and COPR were seized. Immigration officer told us our current COPR was cancelled and now we have to wait for new ones to be issued. They added our child to our application in October and since then we have been waiting for virtual landing instructions. All I know is that our application is in VO queue at Calgary office. My daughters passport is in Canadian embassy at Abudhabi to be stamped but they won’t stamp until we receive our PR. We reached out to our local MP and he was happy to help as I have a 7 month baby back home and we she is away from us since more than 3 months. We really hope to receive instructions soon. It hurts me to even think about how far she is from us for such a long time. Honestly I never in my wildest dream thought this could happen.
