so what can happen with claimants now they can get neg decision-based on credibility as they lied? or lawyer will be suspended or what consequences they both can face?

Member will scrutinize more and in detail his Basis of Claim, best bet is claimant will have difficult time to overcome integrity. I foresee negative decision or decision will delay as they are looking into legality of what has happened, or buying time to see if the counsel will appeal

Impossible to say what will happen. This is a rare situation. Your friend needs to get a new lawyer and consult with them.
