Hi everyone I need some help please. My oath was on august 17th Scarborough office. When sending the signed oath form back I didn’t respond to the oath invitation email but rather sent it as a new stand alone email. It’s the same email address. I listed my file number, last name and officers first name in the subject. In the body I said “pease find enclosed oath form” and listed my UCI file number full name and officers first name
Since then it has been two days and no update to the tracker. I also sent a follow up email (forwarded my original oath form email ) but no response.
do you think I should have responded to the oath invite email that’s why the delay?

Not a problem at all in sending your oath form as a new email with the subject line mentioned by the clerk. ( Make sure you use the subject line that the clerk mentioned within 48 hrs of oath taking)
I sent my signed oath form on 8/2 as a new email and the status changed to closed with approval of citizenship on 8/9.
Wait for a week to see changes on the portal.

+1 to this. I am going to be waiting at least a week before even considering sending out a follow up. I sent a new email too, with the prescribed subject line per instructions. No updates as of yet.
I sent a follow up email lol I hope that doesn’t delay things maybe I should have waited. I didn’t receive any response yet to original email with oath form or follow up
Final Update on the Citizenship: Received Citizenship Certificate on 22 August 2022.
Citizenship effective date 2 August 2022.
So 3 weeks gap between date of Oath and date of receiving the certificate from SK to ON.

July 2019 applicant here (patiently waiting!).
Oath done yesterday for family of 3 NGF office. 184 Oath takers! Ceremony completed 0800-1000.
Emailed electronically signed form immediately after ceremony. I noticed that there were 2 different email addresses. The contact us email link in the first 1-9 pages of the form (same as the oath invite) and the Reply email link on page 10 were different by one number! I sent the signed form email to both addresses. I got an auto response from the oath invite email address.
Status updated to application closed this morning for all of us.
i guess that means they will soon or have already posted the Citizenship Certficates.

Who will provide affirmation of citizenship or oath forms i am just confuse do they will sent with invitations email?
Got a technical question - you said you were a family of 3 that did the virtual ceremony - did all of you used the same device? We are 2 taking the Oath and on the letter they are asking to use same device for all family members, but i don't know how this will work if we have different seat numbers?
