My agent is requesting i open account with the Virtual Business Bank Canada before work permit is issued with $230. Can anyone help me with this?

After Funding your account, please complete the Savings Account opening form as attached to this mail, and transfer the required account set up fee of 229$ .as stated on the form Via your Payeer account to the Bank receiving Payeer account as stated on the form, in other to activate your Savings account to receive the Statement of account from the Bank as well as all other information regarding your salary account.

The 230$ he has mentioned is for LMIA exemption compliance fees which is paid by the employer, not by you.

Again, don't fall for this. Save your money, you will need it when you come to Canada.
