It seems to be a long wait for PPR from Vienna office, please share any experiences!
There is a thread in Familiy sponsorship and those guys are waiting over a year. Let's connect and see more specifically for EE applicants how long it takes.

I am in my 6th month since AOR, BG in progress....

Hey there, I just got a PPR from the Vienna office yesterday so here is the timeline hoping it can be of help:

PNP Outland - Ontario French Stream
AOR: 16 Jan 2017
Medicals passed: 6 Feb 2017
BG NN-NS: 6 Feb 2017
ADR: 15 Feb 2017 (Travel history)
BG NS->NA: mid February
GCMS notes produced on 3 May 2017 indicated no movement since Feb apart from the travel history addition at the end of March
BG NA->IP: 29 Jun 2017
PPR: 29 Jun 2017

PPR came as an email notification telling me that there is a new message in myCIC account. It was sent at 4.15 am EDT.

I got my GCMS notes generated after the PPR so here are a few bits of information that could maybe help you:

AOR: 16 Jan 2017
First review by a Support Service Agent at CIO: 7 Feb 2017
Medical passed: 7 Feb 2017
Travel History Request: 15 Feb 2017
Criminality passed (after a review of police certificates): 16 Feb 2017
Transfer to Vienna (after a review by Program Assistant and Case Analyst [Section 11.2 review] at CIO): 24 May 2017 "Appears to meet requirements"
Review at Vienna and PPR: 29 June 2017 (Background check went to 'In Progress' the same day)

There was no update in MyCIC from February to PPR. GCMS notes will be able to tell you more but they take 30 days from the moment you order them.

Thanks for sharing your notes! Timelines seem very similar to my notes, however for me they seem to ne running some additional checks after my eligibility was passed. It may a take a long time for my PPR

I have waited for over 25 days now from my PPR by now. I had IP2 on July 25

I was Ontario French stream as well. Timeline is in my signature. Since they never asked any additional documents all went well. I had mild travelling all over the world, but not for extended periods (holidays or short business trip). My spouse is from a different country and the criminal checks were done swift.
At certain moments you can count with delays (summer holiday, x-mass, time when they deal with working holiday applications).
And one more thing. If you are within Schengen, you can try normal post service for passport delivery (if you have to do it). They do know how to send it back using Austrian post office.

It's still early to say, everything within 6 months is still ok and no reason to worry. You can order GCMS notes and see exactly what's going on.

I have emailed the Otawa visa office and I got back a response that the application is already approved they just didn't get to sending me my PPR. I'm kind of pissed off by that.

Is your file processed in Ottawa or Vienna?
You can try to contact Vienna VO if your file is there, they reply within a week or so.
I heard PPRs are sent in batches, so even if your application is approved, it may take a few weeks sometimes for them to send the letters.
Since you already know that your application is approved, PPR is not far away, for sure.
My IP2 was in April, and I am still waiting, but my file is stuck in Security Screening.

If you still read here! how did it go finally? how long did it take them from PPR to COPR?!
