I leave to go back home on Saturday, I am just waiting for news this week. It's even harder because I am working closing shifts at my job this whole weekend so tonight I work until 11:30pm.... We ALL know there is no way that I will go to sleep right away, I will be wide awake refreshing my email every 30 seconds LOL

I’m sure you’ll hear from them before you leave! Omg I know.. the emails usually come in the middle of the night so I was constantly refreshing.. I swear I haven’t had a proper sleep in over 6 months. The struggle is real for all of us lol

My cousins husband received his passport back from Vienna today, it was delivered to our local VAC back home. It took 4 business days to be received and sent back. I am so happy that the wait is finally over for her. I am praying for good news to come soon. This is going to be a looong weekend for me lol

Wow, that's really fast, I can't believe she sent her passport and received it back in only 4 business days! Good for her and I hope you get some good news this week!

I actually misheard, It was shipped back on Friday. It should reach Prishtina tomorrow or Tuesday!

She booked his ticket and he will be doing his landing on April 17th

I have to wait until after I come back to meet him I guess, So excited for her and for everyone!

Hi all, new to this “chat” wondering if anyone would have some anwsers to my questions!
Ive read a few post and it seems a lot of you are in the same position as me.

My husband lives in Kosovo we are currently in month #8 since sending our application for PR. (Since Aug2017)

Last I heard from vienna was:
March 22 about pre arrival services.
& March 28 to re send SchA

Anyone know what this means is the pre arrival services email a good sign? Any advice/comments?

Is there a reason why you had to resend Sch A?

Receiving the Pre-Arrival services email is a good sign. The next step is PPR request and you should be receiving that any time soon. In the last 2 weeks, many applicants from Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia and Bosnia have received their Pre-Arrival email and most of them have received PPR shortly after that.

As for me, I miss my wife so I booked a flight in May and staying 10 days I really hope we get some good news at least by the end of the month, it would be great if we could come back together

Yaaay! I’m glad you are going to visit her! Missing someone is the hardest thing to feel, especially when it’s someone that you promised to spend your whole life with. I have a feeling that you two will come back together especially seeing as you have a month or so until you actually leave.

I just got home from work so I will probably stay uo for a bit until 1 or 2. I’ll let you guys know if I get anything!

Background check changed from "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check"
TO
"We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

Guess it is going in the right direction.

I don't know why they would have asked for that again, I had sent it in October and didn't hear from them since until now when they asked for it again and the pre arrival services email. I really hope I hear from them soon because its been 2 weeks already!

Me too! I'm just curious to know if Vienna follows the order they receive the applications because @erik76's application was received one week after mine (congrats once again!) and he got Pre-Arrival before me?? Hmm...

I dont think they do, I forget who it was in this forum, but I remember they applied in September, so about 1 month after me and they received PPR last week... so it’s random
