Got doc req from Vienna visa office on May 31 req us to pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee and to send them 2 passport sized photos.

That was fast

Wow, this is fast processing time. I sent my application week earlier, but I am form Serbia and that might be the reason why your is processed faster

My question is did you send 4 photos together with your application, and are they asking for your passport because Slovenia is visa exempt country? I have 10 years valid visa, and i am currently in Canada, and I was hoping that i will be able to bypass that step of asking for passport.

We had to send 8 photos with the app. No we dont need to send my passport. The only thing they asked for is two additional photos
( i dont know why as we already sent 8 of them lol) and to pay the pr fee.

Yes, maybe it was 8 I sent my application, and I think is very good. My concern is that I will need to provide some other things, and I wish to get my COPR in Canada and go couple blocks in office and activate my PR status. Hopefully it will be without any additional things. But its not end of the world if they ask for.

My application was sent to Vienna VO on May 23, 2016 and no mail/email received or eCAS update of third line. Anxiety for AOR, later on for SA is setting on me. Any idea how long it took you guys to hear from them?

My husband got an email for interview on Jan 8,2016
Interview in Feb 2016
After interview if you pass they tell you to go home and that they will email you
My husband landed in May 2016

There is lots of changes in 2016 before they stamp visa on the spot but now you have to wait for email after you send your pasport and 2 picturs all info how and what will be in that email.

After I sent police clearances and schedule A, I emailed visa office to confirm if they recived my documents and this is what they replied on it:

Dear XXXX XXXX,

The documents you sent have been received. Your application in the queue for review by a visa officer.

You will be informed about the further steps in your application shortly.


Can any one tell me what this means or this is just there regular form witch they send to everyone? ???

I did that too when I sent mine clearances and they just replied that they will notify me about further steps in due time. A month and a half after that they sent a passport request.

Yes this is what we received as well, all is good as long as they received what they were looking for they will write that the documents have been received

I just noticed that Vienna wait time has changed from 17months to 12 Mine has already been 12months as of June 1st. I guess now I can email them again

I checked that Slovenia passport holder processing time is 17 months, and Serbia passport holders 12 months. That don t have much sense. I am from Serbia, I send my application in February, my application process start at beginning of April. I really didn't expect anything before end of the year, but I can see here some people that have some crazy times, like less then 5 months even. That's great if its true. Wish you luck all.

For Bosnia it's currently 10 months.
