Hi everyone,

we received an e-mail from Vienna today requesting a new schedule A and a new police certificate.
I am hoping this is positive and that the bacground check has beeen finnaly competed. They did not request a new medical although it expired in September last year.
I am hoping our wait is nearing the end!!!!

To correct my message above; there was another e-mail from Vienna ( my hubby was too axcited with the 1st one, so he didin't see it) and they are requesting a new medical.
Sooooo, this is the last stage I assume?

On November 22, 2013, CIC Mississauga received our application. On Dec 27, 2013, I was approved as a sponsor and the application was sent to Vienna. Any idea how long it will take? I don't care about their processing times, I would like to know your experiences. What is the fastest anyone has gotten PR? Thanks!

From the day Vienna Received your application which is Dec 27, 2013, you most count 13Month but this is an estimate only it can take longer but 13 month is 80% Without Interview or Additional Documents and remember that Processing time is changing or update every 3 month so it will be in 2weeks it can be down from 13 month or up to something else good luck and feel free if you had any questions to ask

First of all, welcome ... Yes, this is the right spot, all Vienna applicants are here and you will see everyone is very nice and helpful.
I am married to a Serbian as well, and from my timeline you can see that we are still waiting. Today they requested some additional documents and a new medical since the 1st one expired in September. I am hoping that our wait is near the end and that we are in a final stage.We were stuck in a background check and it is probably because my husband served in the military. If your husband didn't serve, it might not take that long.
What is the fastest processing time? Hard to say. Our friend Muby, from this forum is a January applicant and received his PR last month so it was 11 months.
But don't get frustrated, there is a long wait ahead of you guys so you will have to be very patient and your love for one to another will get you through this.

Dont be. Have you seen the email I sent them the day before? I got fed up with the horse *censored word* they have been feeding us and I wrote this on behalf of my wife! We must wake up and realize that we are THEIR clients.

But you are telling us here that our new file is in queue to be processed as of November 2013? But our original file arrived in Vienna in April 2013. Please clarify this for us. We do not mind waiting for 12 months or more... but our lives are on a standstill for nearly a year now.
We only need this clarification from you and nothing more. If our file shows that came to Vienna in November 2013, this means 12 months from November 2013?
My husband has given notice to his employer in Greece so he can move to Canada to prepare for mine and our baby's move there. He cannot simply go because in case my application is turned down what is going to happen to our little family?

I would sincerely appreciate an simple clarifying answer in regards to this.

I have a feeling that they will not ask you for another medical and that as soon as you send them the docs they ask they will issue your the COPR

Here is what the letter said:

When you schedule your appointment, please ensure that arrangements are made for your chest x-ray
and laboratory tests as well. Once your medical has been completed the doctor will forward the medical
results to CIC.

I think that's a complete medical.

Don't get me wrong - it is great, that they did clarify this.
However, from my experience with this VO, they are usually very good not giving specifics. So yes, you might have hit a nerve there, or at the very least found someone who sympathized with your situation.
Anyway, it is good to have this information.

BTW, the website says 20 months for post June 2010 FSW-applications - I am now way past the 25-months-mark, and I don't think they have even touched my file yet ...

We paid all the fees up-front so they didn't ask for this. It will be interesting to see how long it will take for each of us to finalize the application. Have you already sent your documents?

We have paid the fee and we are looking to send the other docs out early next week (the police certificate and the Schedule A).

Hi all and good day

Yesterday I received a call from a lady who is the supervisor of Citizenship and passport department in the Canadian Embassy of Athens Greece. She actually called me to inform me that she had received the envelope with our baby daughter's documents for citizenship and passport.
While talking to her (she is well known to many Greek-Canadians as a very polite and friendly lady) she asked me how our situation with Vienna is going. I told her about the delays, the silence, and the anxiety. She told me that she understands our position but she knows that Vienna is a very small VO and has been rained with hundreds of new applications every week. T
According to her this is the reason for our condition with Vienna.

Lets all hope and pray that this will change soon, so we can be on our way

hello guys...i`m at the end of my journey..i done everything they asked...including interview...which run perfectly..but officer ask me for pif-personal info form-..and on january 2 we sent pif by email......and today is 16 and still nothing from them. only thank you on friday 3 january. in one document which is like they asking for pif is this-NOTICE TO APPLICANTS
Once the requested documents are received, your file will be put in queue for processing............i know vienna they are slow....but for god sake she have to just look my name on one paper and thats it.
