You are right , i dont think Vienna did any job for 2013 , they are really slow, or they are in Vacation i guess.

I do not know you personally but I do sympathize with everyone here. I know the wait can kill you. Anticipation....... Boredom.... Anxiety.....
Back in the 80's (it was lot easier of course) I did my share of waiting with all the above motions as well. At that time it took less than 7 months and I dealt with the Canadian Embassy in my country of Greece. At those days (correct me if I am wrong) VO did not exist as we know them today. Of course they characterized them like so but it was more personal and the only thing one had to do is pickup the phone, dial and speak to the officer responsible person to person and most of the times in first name basis.
Those days are gone and now all of you and soon me (or I would say my spouse whom I Sponsor outland) will go through the same paces.
I know even me that says this now I will eventually become one of you... But following this thread for the past 6 months and reading daily has given me a lesson. Not to keep my mind occupied on this thing constantly.
I know most of you want to re unite with your loved ones asap. And if possible yesterday.
Be patient...Keep your mind focused on the good things that you have now. What ever happens, happens (Que sara, sara as the song goes)
Just go back few hours, days, weeks when all the nice people you met here received their COPR or what ever its acronym is. See how happy they were that particular moment when they immediately after opening the envelope wrote it here!
You all will be like them soon! One by one any moment now Europe, Franzi, McDutch, gutto786, sponsor2012, SanBen,

Messenger Good luck for me it is stressful time , i am so busy at work , and thios period of waiting time is killing me , i am not the one i can go now in Europe and be couples week with my husband , i am married 18 months , and i been with my husband 4 years and more, i have so many thing to finish , and my hands are tight right now , i hope for evryone here will get a good news. and te relief this stress,

I think this is just what we need, some optimism on this forum. It is a long and frustrating process but we will all get there eventually. And we do need to stay positive and distract ourselves as much as possible. This is the last stretch before we can resume our normal lives! Good luck to you messenger!

SanBen you are right , but honestly when you are waiting like this long , and no news at all, evrything is there , is making you more stress, and maybe some people having things to do , and your hands are tight, for me i know i am from February , and this is more than enough waiting time,

Europe, believe me I know, I expected to have our papers in July or August. But after all the long-distance stuff we had to put up with, the phone calls, flights, lack of vacation, money etc we are among the 3% of long distance relationships that made it work. This is the last hurdle and I am not going to give up now. And we could have been luckier like some here and gotten our papers in 2 months but at the same time I will be grateful that it doesn't take 2 years like it did for certain people or that there are not further complications and we have to go through appeals which really then take forever.
All I'm saying is that it could be worse and we made it through almost a year, I really do believe this should end soon.
We've both been in background checks for 4-5 months now so I expect this to be resolved within the next 2-3 months. We just have to stay positive and support each other. This too shall pass.

We all love our families and loved ones, so keep it this way and put up with the whole procedure. I know its too early for me to say all this and it does get frustrating at some point but we have to put up with that. If we cant change anything why bother. Keep of praying and hope for the very very best

Theoretically you can apply for tourist visa to visit your wife, but I'm not sure that they'll give you. I was in Canada before 2 years to visit my boyfriend at that time. After nine months we married. I came back home April 2012. I applied for tourist visa on the end of August but they rejected my application. Soon after rejecting I got an e-mail for interview. I don't know the reason of rejecting my tourist was interview or something else.

Mase you can visit Canada, because ou are from Germany and you dont need the Visa, i would recomend to check more information for that

My Wife is a german citizen. She is with me since our marriage in May 2012. We have both went together to US and then came back to canada. She has been to Germany once and then returned back to Canada. All in all, if you are from a Visa exempt country then u can stay in Canada for as long as 6 months and then you have to exit and re-enter.
