not necessarily, most websites allow you to choose to have cancelation which of course you'll have to pay a little more but then it allows you to to cancel or change you're flight. this is the web portal we use to get tickets from: skyscanner.net

there is no harm in requesting GCMS notes; just make sure you select to receive the electronic file. Only a Canadain citizen can do this request so you will have to send a consent to your spouse and request it on your behalf.

I booked flights on faregeek.com, hotwire.com, expedia.ca and priceline.com. I don't like skyscanner.com because they don't work together with all airlines. So you might miss a cheap flight.

You can buy a cancellation insurance which will pay if you don't receive the tourist visa. Check the fineprint of those insurances! They clearly state when they pay and when they don't pay. BTW, I used to be a travel agent ;-)

Check Peki's post from the other day, he did the TRV application online and received the answer within a day.

another option is " google flights" they've also created a good portal for the job. My husband comes every 3 months and gets his tickets using google flights. ( he's saying that it's much better than skyscanner

Dear Europe, then it would a problem for me.. if I pay for the Airline tickets and they refuse to give me a VISA... then all money go in WASTE.. could you please tell me how to overcome such situations...
2ndly can I make the insurance from CANADA?

Yoyur insurance has to be paid in Canada , bu Canada Insuranmce, as far for your airliones tickets , just show them your itinerary that you are goig to book, cuz Vienna Wants you to proof that you are comign back,

That insurance i told you is Visitotrs to Canada , and that cover you the medical has to be paid in Canada , i am a travel agent here in Canada and i know what CIC told us to do or this situations, and Foreign affairs service told us same ,
as for the airlines tickets just call the airlines and tell them just to reserve the space, and dotn tell them that is for the visa issue, they will give you time limit and automaticly the resrvations cancell if you dont purchase on that time .
dont book anything online , cuz you are not dealing with the person , and sometimes you can losse money it is so many junk web site , and dont trust them

Thankyou Dear Europe.. I will check with Travel Agents... if it is done then fine..if not then i will c at most what can be done..
By the way can you Just BOOK my travel Ticket ?? because on an agent can do this, let me know if you can be of any help in this regard.
