I hope soon our processes will finish. I feel the same for my life. It's on pause. My husband is in Canada. He is a Canadian (born in Canada). We are separated more than a year. I'm tired of Macedonian Canadian time difference. I stay late in night. I go late in bed and i feel so tired.

Sposor my husband was like you , he went to sleep late at 3:30 sometime 4 in the mornign and woke up at 7:30 to start work , it is really hard for you , i know how you feel , it is really hard patience for you , and i know you can not consentrate on anything

Oh yess, above all the heartache, the stupid time difference.... Its torture btw. We do the same just as Europe wrote and even less, and we come to an argument more and more often.... We are both tired, busy but would love to talk and after a while we end up arguing, it can be hurtful and annoying and to tell the truth sometimes I do get the feeling that it would be easier to give it up... Basically I love my country and never wished to get out of here.... Of course I LOVE Canada, Its my second home, but..... Well, I wouldn't go if he could move here. But not yet, I must help him to pay off his mortgage and maybe gather some more money so we might move back once... And would live a really good life btw.


Oooh Guys, how will the kids be able to get the Citizenship once we are there?

I pop in here many times everyday to check on up some good news, that maybe someone received a notice from Vienna.
I do not check our e-cas at all to be honest. I just want to see even one person from here to get something!

I foudn this forum very worm , and friendly , like a family who are waiting for the news from vienna, i feel like embassy holding life to be with our loves,
once you are with your love everything will be forgot, the firts 6 months is going to be little hard until you are using to leave in different culture, and you are settle , i remebered when i moved to Canada it was like my 6 months hardest one , but in this life you have to go through everything , and just to be patience

Oh Europe, you must be right... Most of us will have to face getting used to the new life as well plus accepting leaving the homeland behind. :'(
I feel lucky about this though, because as a young child I learnt to adopt Canada as it was my country of birth. it was not easy to tell the truth, but just as you said,6 months and everything was great! Now that I went back I could remember the sidewalks I have been walking on and I remembered the tree I was sitting under and studying , reading and it was still there... I was able to navigate my husband on the roads driving a car, and my memory was correct... So small things which makes you to feel yourself at home, I had it and never let it go.

Good question. I am wondering the same thing because, when they sent me the second "AOR" the email said something about the processing times being 10 months. Even since changing to 12 months. Anyone ? Thoughts?

I think that's just statistics, this is what they say:

The tables below indicate application processing times at Canadian visa offices once Step 1 has been completed. The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013. Processing times are subject to change.

Reading this I don't see they have any kind of obligation

I started getting my application ready around this time last year and I believe it was somewhere in between 7-10 months.
