And yes, officers are coming for oath only.

After this month, it is the 24th month I'm waiting, therefore she told me that she will send a msg to the officer see if they can do the test as well.

But... I don't bring too much hope for that.

Below is my timeline:
applied: june 2012 from vancouver
application started getting processed from Jan 2013
file reached surrey office in August 2013

I havent received any notification for test, so was suggested to contact CIC call center. The guy put me on hold for a while and said he has sent a reminder to the officer saying i have been waiting for a long time for my test to be scheduled. I asked him how long will it take from here on and he said...we dont know...u should received it before june otherwise contact us...

is this something normal..do they actually contact the visa officer or did he say this to pacify me...
how long does it take once they contact visa officer, ussually

he said my file looks good...but not sure why have they not scheduled the interview...

any inforamtion on this would be much appreciated.

i got the same question as yours.

Mine is even earlier. They received my doc on May 30.

And they told me that they will msg the officer, but Im still worry.

As u say, victoria is the slow city in whole country. We have no way only to wait. But cic said every case is different--- case by case.

I guess the cic officer will back to victoria between the Julu to Sep. because I remember they will back to island every season( three months).

maomao, I think you should be fine. They are coming for 3 days, and only for oath. You should be invited. No worries.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Hope I will get the notice in the next two weeks.

And hope u get the test notice soon. Btw there is a tip for u is please say yes if the officer ask u take oath in Vancouver when the test interview.

If officers are coming on Canada Day, it might be a good news. But not too good...

Still few months of waiting, and don't know if I can have a test or what...
