VFS Passport Submission In Lagos, Nigeria

I didn't receive that or a tracking ID.

Let me recap. I received a tracking ID and receipt after I did my biometrics but I didn't get a new Tracking ID, after I sent in my passport for stamping. I assumed I'm supposed to use the same ID I got after doing my biometrics. I've checked that ID and it says 'No Records Found'

However, I sent in my passport via courier for the stamping about a week ago and I haven't gotten any notification since then.

I also learnt, about 2-3 days after I sent in my passport, that there was a fire outbreak at the Abuja Office which paused all operations, so I wondered if that affected it too.

I have less than 3 weeks to send in the passport so I'm somewhat confused on the next step to take.

I missed my appointment and couldn't book another appointment, literally.

The website told me I couldn't book another appointment.

Oh wow.. That’s serious, the only thing you can do now is to get in touch with the embassy to help you locate where your passport submission goes to. Then you can take it up from there

Your application has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Abuja OC on Wed Nov 08 2023 and is in transit to the IRCC Office in Abuja OC for processing. For further details, please contact the VAC helpline number or refer to our website at: https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/Nigeria

Regards,” on Wednesday last week. I haven’t gotten any email from them again. Should I text them?

I haven’t heard back from vfs since on the 7th of november that I submitted my passport for stamping in Lagos. No collection email. it’s going to a month now and I’m really worried. The last email I got from them on the 8th of november that it’s on its way to the embassy.
