Once it arrives Lagos you will be notified via email. So you will have to go with the receipt given to you when you submitted your passport. I think you should rather check your online portal to see if some changes have been made now

By receipt, do u mean that sticker on the passport data page that's given during biometrics? Bcoz i submitted that during the passport submission for stamping since i was told so during biometrics. If its not this then which receipt are u mentioning abt. i checked the portal there are no changes. everything has been reveiwed.
Yes the receipt given to you during Biometric, once you submit your passport, they will issue another sticker on that same receipt that has your data page. That sticker is called passport transmission. I got an email on the 10 th of August being Thursday from VFS Canada Abuja that my passport has been couriered to me. But my problem is that they did not tell me the courier company and the tracking air waybill number of my envelope. I'm worried because I have not seen my passport and I can't track it. Initially they said I can track it after 24 hours of getting the email from VFS. I have used the VFS tracking number to track my passport but I couldn't. I'm worried because I have only six days remaining to travel to the United kingdom. I need your help and your response please.
i want to know how long it takes to get my passport back from abuja to lagos. submitted since july 28 and didnt get an update till 23rd of august when i went to complain due to the fact my school is resuming on the 30th and my flight is 26th(saturday) i got an email it was in transit to lagos from abuja but dont know how long it takes to get to lagos?

Please, I sent in my passport via private courier after it was approved, 3 working days ago. I haven't received any mail informing me that it has been received and my tracking ID says there are no records for my application.

You suppose to receive an acknowledgment of receipt after submitting your document. And they should sending tracking to notifying you about how the stamping is goingAs a visitor.

I didn't receive that or a tracking ID.
Let me recap. I received a tracking ID and receipt after I did my biometrics but I didn't get a new Tracking ID, after I sent in my passport for stamping. I assumed I'm supposed to use the same ID I got after doing my biometrics. I've checked that ID and it says 'No Records Found'
However, I sent in my passport via courier for the stamping about a week ago and I haven't gotten any notification since then.
I also learnt, about 2-3 days after I sent in my passport, that there was a fire outbreak at the Abuja Office which paused all operations, so I wondered if that affected it too.
I have less than 3 weeks to send in the passport so I'm somewhat confused on the next step to take.
