VFS or online. Which one is the fastest?

Just judging from all the responses from everyone, people have had better luck when going through VFS. Although I did it online, I kinda wish I too had chosen VFS-online.

I think VFS is faster because they pre assess your application at the point of submission and right after submission, you proceed for biometric capturing.

well what i think about procedure.....the arguement shouldnt be for what are better and which method is best... both are authentice methods... the process time depends on the case of student... vary from student to student.... if any student's document satisfied completely then for sure VO approved VISA immediately
otherwise they will take time.....

I applied through VFS on December 1 and my friend applied online on December 16. Our visa was issued on the same day.
Sometimes online takes longer than VFS. It depends on the case.

Check the requirements for both online and VFS. There are some minor differences. For Example: Online: You need 4 months statement and through VFS: You need to submit 6 months statement (Visa requirement for Saudi Arabia). Also, if you have credit card than it is easier to pay fees online. However, VFS check your application and let you know if any document is missing or if there is any mistake.

Thank you all for your comments and the reason for this is just for fall applicants who needs to put in for applications in order to meet up with the start date of their programs in Canada and i have heard a lots of confusing comments on the mode of applications which further put me in a state of dilemma on which one i should use but your inputs has significantly benefited me and other forumites who happen to be in the same boat with me.
