Yes sir, fix a date as your point of no return and once that crosses, defer or do whatever, we are shoveling against the blizzard here.
Yeah this makes sense. I have not factored defering in my plan of actions yet. However, I do wonder sometimes ideally what should be the timeframe when I should consider defering. Currently studying online for 2 years and my course ends in Aug 2022. What do you think?

31 Dec 2021 is the end date, after which the course wont count towards PGWP (if you continue from outside Canada), so that should be the line for you I guess.
My third semesters would already be on during that time. Perhaps, I will have to tkae a call in October - November I guess.
With all honesty, I would never advise anyone to start studying without a study permit if your intension is to migrate. Currently VO have been extremely strict about issuing SP and it would just wrench you to loose so much money for nothing.
Study permit? You mean the actual stamp once you arrive in Canada?
My application is approved and I got PPR request.
I can tell you this, if you are approved for a SP then go for it, you will definitely fly by Dec, no doubt about that. But if you are not approved, then how confident are you , given your type of application (SDS or non-SDS) and your weight that you put in (financial support, course in continuity with previous education/work, family ties demonstrated or not)?

On you have PPR. Sorry, I should have asked. I guess you are just waiting for VFS to open? In that case you should be all good as I think it should gradually start opening in few weeks and you should be able to travel before Oct if all goes well.

Yes. Thanks. Hopefully. Hoping for the best for everyone. VFS India has been vaccinating their staff as well. I guess that's also one step in the right direction.
