VERY VERY URGENT: Need info about medicals

Hello Friends, I received a letter from CIC to undergo additional medicals since the DMP found a fibre scar in the initial x-ray (I never had TB though). When DMP opened the sealed cover, it asked me to take a chest x-ray and consult a chest specialist. The chest specialist after looking at the second x-ray, told me to undergo sputum test which I did in mid-April and waiting for the result. But I read on the CIC website that a repeat-xray should be taken after 3 months. But my letter does not say anything about repeat x-ray. Does the letter normal state that or will the DMP tell me..

Please Please Please Please help....

Hi Acharya,

I am in real need of help from you. I saw this post of yours and I am in the same situation as yours. I gave my first medicals in March and the reports were sent to CIC. There was a fibre scar in my lungs and CIC asked me to take one more lordotic x-ray and consult chest physician. The chest physician after having a look at the x-ray suggested to give sputum. I gave my sputum in April and the 8 weeks are getting completed in a week. I am sure I am not suffering with TB an the report would be negative.I am just confused if I can repeat my chest x-ray immediately next week which is 3 months from the 1st x-ray I took or should I wait for one more month and repeat the x-ray in July.

Please share your experience.

Answer....Do not worry, if nothing wrong in your Xray you will get PPR Request....its just bit of delayed... you will get your PPR request very soon....just wait around 4 months after your second X-ray test....

Dear Acharya,

Would you please try to give me some information about the repeat x-ray. It is not mentioned in the letter issued by CIC but since the CIC website says that a minimum of 2 chest films in a period of 3 months, I am just confused whether the 3 months is from the first x-ray which I took as part of initial medicals or 3 months from the second x-ray which I took while giving sputum test.

Please advise.

Friends, I have received the sputum test results and all are nagative. I have submitted the passport to CIC today and waiting for my visitor visa to be stamped. Any idea as to how much time would CIC take to stamp the visitor visa from here?
