Very strange thing has happened - Request for payment of RPRF‏

Hi, I am the one who posted this question.

I've just spoken with the CIC agent by phone and she verified that the Ottawa office made a mistake to send the email (request for payment of RPRF) to almost everyone, including the ones already closed. So, yes, the email was legitimate CIC email but it was a mistake.

Of course, if your application is still under review I don't think you need to worry even if you've already paid after receiving that email this morning at 11am. (wow, you guys are so quick!!) In my case, as I knew that my initial CEC application was already rejected last year, I needed to confirm what this RPRF payment request means at this point..
