Hey people, I have been reading this forum & get updates. I am highper stressed, experts pls advice. I got T4 & NOA request on March 18 & was sent on 19th only but no news after that. I thought I would get medical in a week or so but now this wait has almost killed me.
I have a lawyer, he said to keep patience and does not make call to Call Centre for my status. My question is can I directly call to call centre without asking him and provide my file number to call centre agent? I need your help to understand why has it taken these many days after Doc request?

Sure you can call them.
Agreed!

But note CIC call Centre could provide no answer, orr even different answers depending on the contacted agent, so consider to call a few times.

Anyways most probably your lawyer is right, only thing you can do is keep calm and wait

OR order GSCM notes

Agree, many of them are unkind and impatient.
