I applied on March 18 2015

Today is October 24

It's still in process

I applied from downtown

If anyone in the same situation

Why is this distressful? CIC is guaranteeing normal processing within around one year. Do you think that you're being strangely punished? If you applied three years ago there's a good chance that you'd be getting your citizenship around now.

Same here, applied in October 14, passed the test in June and still in Process. It is annoying but there is not much anyone can do. CIC is just taking its sweet, bloody time.

Very have to explain the CIC policy.
Some go fast some slaw. Even if I have now DM I don't take it for granted that it will keep moving so fast.
Seeing is believing Let's hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

I agree with other readers, If you have minimum required days, paid the necessary fee and attached all docs, nothing to worry.

People applied this year are very lucky. CIC promised to clear all applications before March 2016. With the change of government, things will be much faster now at CIC.

Unlike in past, people applied in 2011 and 2012, had to helplessly wait till early this year to get citizenship.

but my file in process since june 21 till now

and i have not yet received the mail for invitation for the test


this is so sad if there is anyone like in my situation do share the timeline
