Very Important Information Required for Police Character Certificate (Islamabad)

Dear Members,
I would really appreciate if someone can guide me in getting my Police Character Certificate. During my HSSC-II study, I was living in Islamabad (2003 - 2004). Later on during undergraduate engineering studies (2004 - 2008) I was living in an area that falls in Rawalpindi. Later on, since August 2008 I am living in DHA - II which as per my information falls under the Islamabad Capital Police.

Please tell me whether I would have to get a Police Character Certificate from a Police Station in Rawalpindi as well?.. Wont the certificate that I'll make from the Islamabad Police be enough to attach with the visa application? I mean the one for which you'll to go Sector F-8 Kutchery ??..

I really need your help since I'll insha Allah be receiving my Admission letter in a few days time as the decision against my admission application has been made.

Since I am applying for a visa for Januray 2012 Semester, I am really falling short of time. (I sure hope I am not late for the visa application. It says the visa application time for Pakistan is 10 weeks. Please tell if certain members have received their visa before the 10 week timeline)

Here is another question? Do we require Police Clearance from each city where we reside more than 6 months in a country or just one for one country...

Say, I used to stay in Karachi, Islamabad and some time in Lahore. Do I require 3 Police Clearance certificates from each city or just one? Any help please.

Following requirement is mentioned on the website of Gerry's VisaDropBox

"Police certificate from all jurisdictions in which you have resided since the age of 18yrs"

which clearly suggests that police certificate will be required from each city

I am intending for September 2012 and will be lodging my application in May or June 2012, when should I apply for police clearance in Pakistan? Currently, I am staying in UAE and will be in Pakistan this November and will be returning in December. As per my plan, I will not be going to Pakistan after that and will apply in CIC Abu Dhabi.

When should I apply for Police Clearance? Will CIC accept Police Clearance certificates which I will be getting in November or they will ask me for Police Clearance closer to date of lodging my study permit application? Please guide.

I got PCCs from both Rawalpindi and Islamabad... The statement written clearly states "This certificate is valid for submission for visa/immigration purposes and is valid for 3 months from the date of issue". So I suggest that you workout this activity somewhere close to when you'll be applying for your visa.

Hello a_a_d, can you please tell me how you got the both certificates from rawalpindi and islamabad. My address on cnic is of islamabad, i can get the islamabad certificate, but i am getting difficulty in getting rawalpindi certificate. because the police officer is saying that i can't get the certificate from ralwapindi, because of my islamabad address. I have told him and explained that before marriage i used to live in rawalpindi, but nobody is helping me. Even the agents are not helping, or asking very high price. Please help me how you got the certificates from both cities. thank you.
